Make AQWorlds Even Better!

Yup, you are ready to make a difference!

So, you have a ton of ideas on how to make the hit online game, AdventureQuest Worlds better? But until today, you did not have a place to post your ideas... at least not where you could be 100% SURE that I saw them. So today, we are doing the first ever Artix.com "MAKE IT EVEN BETTER" post. I am challenging you to post your best ideas to improve any and every part of the game. If this is a success we will do this for other games. Today, we are focusing on game play AdventureQuest Worlds!

AQW Hanging Out

We have been fixing A LOT of things lately. In fact, just today we corrected the "Flash 9 Player required" screen that was blocking some players from accessing the game, we fixed a "stealth bug" in town, and we fixed a bug in the chat filter which will prevent scammers from posting websites in an attempt to steal other players accounts. Most of these were because of the new Bug Hunter Artix.com/Bugs/ system, but after spending the day researching bugs in game... I was flooded with good ideas from players like yourself. Unable to keep up with all the ideas being thrown at me, I thought, "How about we make a post so you can put them all here!"

HOW TO suggest a great idea!

Comment below! But do not just make any comment, make a clear and concise suggestion that will improve the game. Explain why it will help the game. In fact, start with key words like CHAT or  FRIENDS LIST or  COMBAT or PvP or HOUSES so we know   I will start us off.

  • CHAT: Capitalize the first letter of names in chat. It will make them easier to read and a lot better looking.
  • EMOTES: Make /draw do the same thing as /unsheath -- because unsheath is so hard to type. Also do /flip for /backflip
  • ACCEPTING ITEMS: If you accept items to fast it kicks you out of the game. Change the game so you cannot accept items too fast.
  • CHARACTER PAGES: Let us set a default pose for our characters on our character pages. 

What NOT TO suggest

Most players know there are a lot of things we cannot do. Help keep this post full of ideas we can take action on.

  • Do not suggest "Make <something> free"
  • Do not suggest "Bring back a rare item"
  • Do not suggest an item, armor, weapon or helm... you can post those on the forums. Instead, suggest a feature that multiple items can use (Example: An enhancement that freezes your opponent)
  • Do not post pictures of your original art here, but do post images of interface changes or illustrations on how to reorganize menu, news, or shops.
  • Do not post bugs here, post those on Artix.com/Bugs - but do post ideas on how to fix commonly known issues!

What TO suggest!

  • Suggest ideas that will fix issues you have encountered with the game
  • Suggest ideas to improve the look or feel of the game
  • Suggest ideas to add more variety
  • Most importantly: Suggest ideas you think we can actually impliment!

UPDATE

Each day we have been getting really awesome new ideas on this thread. while this was intended for AQWorlds, there are things in here that make sense for both AdventureQuest 3D and AdventureQuest Mobile too! So we are going to keep this open and going... if this scrolls off the page, I will add a link on the right hand side for players to get to this thread. The team and I will be reading and re-reading the posts!

ahmed45: COMBAT: how about you add more realistic animations to the combat moves? like the ranger class weapon it uses the bow to fire darts so when you have a gun instead of making it hit like a sword it should actually shoot bullets! and maybe when you use swords or any other weapons you make the monster that you are attacking have some scratches or some blood come out :)

golden360s: You can add certain items that will double the amount of things you will get (legion tokens for example).

Artix: HOUSES: Add an easy and obvious way to equip a house. Because, if your Membership expires, your Member only house is unequipped. When you type /house it takes you to Centaur21 where you buy houses instead of your house. It is really confusing that you have to click on House Inventory, then House then select a house, then click the little plus button to equip a house.

Artix: TRADESKILL ARMORS: Create an armor that allows you to use a tradeskill.. like Blacksmithing... then create items. The items would go into a personal shop. Other players can buy items from your personal shop and you would get gold from the items you sold.

Tonemaro: Maybe instead of a personal shop you could have a Guild shop that adds to your guild's treasury or splits up evenly between members.

ZhinxExile: im not really understand this but i guest i can understand the blacksmithing thing...make a trade shop and make a item creation place....like nulgath to get ungodly reaver must do juggernaut quest that contain hard thing...thats one of the item maker right?...hoping its a reputation so i will play AQW for the blacksmithing reputation

Artix: INTERFACE MAP: When you mouse over the map, add a pop up menu that allows you to go to 1.) Bring up the Full Map 2.) Goto Battleon 3.) Goto Your House 4.) Teleport back to the last NPC who gave you a quest.

Evil Risto 7: Influence: Maybe consider having more future areas/expansions be related to a past game? Dragonfable, Mechquest, AdventureQuest... This may help AQWorld players be interested in past games and those that do play will be more excited to play Adventurequest Worlds.

DOODOO: because, as it is it is impossible for someone to lose their rares to a hacker, however, if it becomes possible to trade items hackers would increase and people would lose items of massive value, owning a guardian shadow cape, golden starsword, beta-berserker, and sword of the vilfier myself (which are all godly-rare items) i can say with confidence that losing items of tremendous value such as those would mean immediate discontinuation of my account and a loss for business for artix inc.

Sunamiking: BUY BACK: You could allow a BUYBACK program for AC ITEMS that you have bought in the past, but sold later. (I did this by accident with a TON of rares when I was a naive 10 year old, or maybe I got hacked.) The buyback could be for 10 x the original price, costly but I would it pay 8k to get my Sword from the 2nd BDAY event that was 800 acs, and my Obsidian katanas at 2k acs.

ZhinxExile: lawl....10 x original price not good enought....actually make the privae 3x and make a merge item for it...like '' mana golem ( example item ) '' to merge 1 item...that means you need other items to get an past item that you have just sold!

AQWPaladinAdam: HOUSE: Possibly we could add a mailbox system between the houses? So, if you wanted to send a message to a friend you can't meet, possibly because time zones. Or you just want to leave them a warm-feeling message, you could use the mailbox system. You should have to purchase stamps or such, to be able to even send mail. Maybe buy stamps or acs? Maybe even let you send a small amount of gold along with your message. To personalize messages, like color/font/wallpaper/picture/etc. You could purchase additional stamps and such for gold and acs.

Vertigo Beast: WARS: Well I was thinking about AQWorlds wars. I love the way they work but I was thinking you could go deeper. Make Siege Wars! Kind of like the Lionfang war except for every room you get closer to the castle more "people" from inside the castle are "attacking" you. Like say you are at your base camp, you don't take any damage. You move into the next room and while you are attacking enemy soldiers you are getting "shot" by Trebuchets every 6 seconds. Then you move onto the next room, and you are still getting shot by Trebuchets except now you are also getting hit by archers every 4 seconds (obviously less damage than the trebuchet). Then the next room is the castle wall and you are in addition to the Archers, (not trebuchets, they wouldn't be able to land right next to the walls, although you can choose which way you want it.) you are also getting "hot oil" poured on you continuously (like a real castle siege). Nothing major just like 20-30 damage every couple of seconds. This would force people to help each other and build a better community. Plus it would also pose a challenge, and challenges are more fun!

JeffTechnoWiz: PVP/GAMEPLAY: Make classes even better by giving them the ability to SWITCH skills between that Class. Example: F2P Troll Spellsmith has that only one list of skills. That it always uses. How about a 2nd list of skills on top of it. SO you can mix and match between F2P skills and Member only skills. It would give members more of a reason to be a member. PLus it could greatly change how PVP works. Am I going against the normal everyday TSS? Or am I going against someone that mix and match hsi skills a bit? Basically add moer skills to f2P and Member only classes. Something like in Diablo 2 SKill tree. Where you can plan out how you want to be more different from every other necromaner that is in D2>

Cagey: Raids: Zones that you get parred with 5 other People and combined, you fight the forces of Chaos! These zones will be dungeons with really High Leveled Monsters so the Players can only fight them with their Partners, the Monsters also drop Loot that will mostly have epic rarities, the Dungeons can also have Quests that will give a HUGE amount of EXP and even Gold, if the Raid Party defeats the Dungeon's Boss, they get awarded with an Achievement.

shock_troop: it's called a dungeon but this should definitelly be implemented into AQW. There should have more maps to fight the chaos orces and each map has different missions and alternate endings.

Hunterbk2: ENHANCEMENT & ITEMS: Weapons and armors could have elements or enhancements from secret or special locations that do things such as light the enemy on fire, boost certain classes, or maybe if you have a certain armor with "water breathing" you could find a secret world under the ocean.

AQWPaladinAdam: CHARACTER PAGES: Perhaps we could set our "AQW char feeling?" Like, you pull up a list, and have the options "sad, happy, dizzy, mad, angry, nervous, etc" and choose one. Then, it changes your AQW characters facial emotion, like, it shows them smiling, crying, blushing, angry, steaming red, and so.

JeffTechnoWiz: PVP/GAMEPLAY: How about a new enchantment system? Basically you can have 3 different layers of enchantments? One for changing the efforts on the weapon. Another one for triggers against certin monster types? AKA More damage against undead. Yet it still has a thief enchantment on it. And it has a Flaming DOT on it. Basically give the enchantment system more life. So I can really say to the player next to me. That my weapon is FAR mroe different then just simpley the art and the same damage range that 90% of weapons have in AQW.

Porkyteen: Combat: I actuall dont know why besides balance but gain more Mana as we level up. I like this MMO and ive seen all the other MMOs ive played had mana increase each level up but you can add like stat points. Say to Vitality, Spirit, etc.

Now my BLoD is jsut collecting dust in my inventory. Artix you PROMISED me in a previous thing that we would have the 2 previous versions back.

Artix: I have been nagging the team about the Book of Lore daily -- the old version is no longer compatible. I will ask them to take out the achievement section so we can at least access the old cutscenes until they get the cutscenes added to the new one.

Sunamiking: ENHANCEMENT: To make Doom farming and other forms of farming easier, sell specific enhancements that give the PERFECT amount of LUK so that for example the SHADOW CREEPER ENCHANT dropped 20 times an hour instead of 2 times.

JeffTechnoWiz: BOOKOFLORE: The new book of Lore. It hasn't been working out for me. Due to there reasons. I can't seem to rewatch cutsenses from area's I was in. I can't fast travel to boss's. Plus in some area's Somehow i am above 102% for quests. Or I am 85% done. Yet I am pretty sure I am done the quests in that area. What is worse. When i looked at the classes suggestions parts of the book. It just gives me a direct link to the in-game AC Class Shortcut shop. it does not teach me or OFFER me a way to EARN the classes by normal NON AC means.

Cagey: Enchantment Aura: Whenever you apply an Enchantment to a certain Item, you can also get a Shiny Aura around the Item, it will look really cool! For example, Lucky Enchantments give a Purple-ish Black Aura, Wizard give a Blue-ish White one. This can only apply to Weapons and Classes though.

Verkone: CHAT: I think that the chat system could be updated to allow us to bold letters and words for emphasis. LIVELY TOWNS: Being a player ina game where your character is the only moving thing is kind of boring. Watching kids play tag or watching a Necromancer summon an undead minion makes role-playing and immersion better. HIDE MONSTERS: What this aims to achieve is more freedom for Video makers like myself. Some of us like to make videos but monsters end up getting in the way most of the time. ATTACK/DEFENSE ANIMATIONS:: Another feature that video makers will put intl use, and so will role-players. These animations would have several kinds. They could be used like emotes for example: /Heavyhammer , /Throwingknife , /Swordstab , /Swordslash , /Heavyaxe , /Whipsnap , /Shielddefense , /Shieldbash , /Shieldtaunt. PLAYER-CREATED CONTENT: This would work like how it will in DF. Make your own quests and cutscenes. With AQW being an MMO unlike DF, it may lt may not allow this feature to be implemented.

Lord_Ajax: FARMING for a great item has always been something that kept me playing aqw. But lately Dage hasnt set new items in the shop so I havent played much for a while. Classes used to be hard to get as well that is why I was a class collector, but now you can easily buy them so everyone can be a class collector without much trouble.

DOODOO: Gameplay/Items: Adding secondary weapons or secondary items and multiple battle stances, examples are things like shields, dual wielding, two handing, magic orbs, etc. another interesting idea is skill/talent trees for multi-class use, passives like "Titan's strength: Grants an adventurer the ability to wield a secondary item while two-handing"

kontract: Item Transition: My thought is making a vending machine around ballyhoo and valencia which lets you make any non mem or mem item into an AC item. Of course the transition will be costly but in the end will be beneficial to AE monetary wise. ex: non mem wep taken to transition kiosk at the cost of 500-1k-2k ac etc., cost depending on said item of course. weapons,armor, classes will have different price ranges. With this idea everyone wins. please consider.

Cagey: Specializations: Instead of seeing the little Potion Slot there is on the Spells on your Disposal, you can see a Spell that will act up your Special (Potions can be applied trough a key next to the HP Bar) The Specials can vary only on the Class: Shaman is a Healer, but even a SpellCaster and tank, so it can have a Talent which will act up for Healing, Ranged DoT and a Melee Physical Attack.

Oishi: Chat: Before some of the AQW updates, players were able to use another symbols and characters besides the ones that can be found in an Standard Us Keyboard Configuration. Like ñ which is a character used in spanish. So it would be Nice Player would be able to use them again.

Zane: PvP: Can we have a PvP ranking system like in Herosmash? My idea is based on points. Each person starts out with 1000 or so. For every win, you gain 2 points. For every loss, you lose 3 points. Also could this system be applied to dueling other players? ie: High ranked people will only duel other high ranked people. That way it's fair and you don't get easy wins.

Cagey: Daily Boss Battle: Have you even been bored in AQW? Have nothing to do? Nothing to unfold your epic Weapons on? Fear no more! A button in Battleon that will send you to a Boss (New or old) where you get to fight him/her and have fun with the People also fighting it! This button will change everyday randomly, so you press it and it sends you to a Boss, this is also a really great way to get New Players more involved in the Lore of AQW.

JeffTechnoWiz: BALANCE/CLASSES/GAMEPLAY: I really believe the classes need to be reworked. From the potions we get in alchemy. To the ever growing higher and higher PVP Amulets that just seem to add to the problem. To F2P classes just stomping all over Mem classes. Basically. I don't think throwing more and more HP onto a class is really going to balance it. We need a better balance between PVP and PVE

Well anyways guilds are finally in aqw but there isnt much use for them right now, you guys put the new class art as more important than guild halls and guild pvp (which I've been waiting for 2 years). Things like guild dunguens, every current dungeon in aqw is solo or party. Guilds don't fit in the current dungeons. Guild pvp is something I've been practicing and anticipated for long and what would make it even better is guild pvp leaderboards and the winner gets . ....fun :3

: STORY LINE IDEAS: I think there should be a storyline for Dage The Evil, It should start out as when he was Nulgath's servant and how he became more powerful and started the legion. It could show him like walking along a dark path in darkovia and he sees a glowing light and when he walks up to examine it the light bursts into him and there will be a HUGE burst of dark light. Then it will show him laying on the ground and he passes out once he awakes he's in a small house and he feels energy all over him he by each day he becomes stringer up until the point where he decides to leave Nulgath and thus the Undead Legion is born. Then it might show him makeing his first armor and beginning to learn how necromancers make undead minions once he masters that it shows him doing a ritual and it shows undead rising from the ground and him smirking.That should be the first part of the storyline then once the second part is released thats where the hero comes in and they meet. Then Dage has the hero do all these quests to try to weaken Nulgath's army for a war (This occurs before the Dgae vs Nulgath war.)And then it shows Nulgath summoning this EPIC looking beast and you have to defeat him and then nulgath says "You have became quite stronger servant" then Dgae says "Im no longer your servant foolish monster". and Nulgath laughs and disappears.

I say this because as someone who has a lot of friends, but very few of them are ever on, it's irritating to get on and feel lonely when none of your friends are on. Just a thought.

Cagey: Guild Gear: A monster can drop certain items and the Guild Leader can loot them, he/she can later make a transmogrified Set each with a Cape, Helm, Armor, Amulet and Weapon, this Gear will be fully Color Custom and have the Guild's name around it, it can be worn by the Members, while officers can get different Gear, this Gear can be worn to represent the Guild itself.

From the moment a new player creates their character, to even after completing the tutorial, there's no direction in the story. Make AQW's story more streamlined and give it more direction. Also, it's impossible for newer players and even older players who haven't completed certain parts of the Chaos Lord zones to progress without a group.

Void Knight: CLASSES: Some of the older class skillsets could use a little bit of teaking so they're up to par with the standards of the new-gen classes(Warrior, Rustbucket/Enforcer/Protosartorium, Dragonslayer, etc.). Also, the game's been out for several years now, with that tried-and-true blue autoattack animation; why not have some sort of feature to change the color of your attacks, maybe making it an option available depending on your character alignment(Red/Black for Evil, White/Gold for Good, Purple for Chaos, etc.).

I think you should bring that war meter back. AT least for the Shops and Mini boss fights to be marked on the war meter. it helped to give players a good idea on what they could earn next. It give them a greater purpose to fight forward in the war.

Whether it be for a storyline or for farming purposes like Dage's quests; it seems like he's one of the few major artists for AQW that hasn't played a major part in-game yet. Dage has his farming quests and a part the Evil War. Nulgath has farming quests, his own zone, and a part in the Evil War. Mido appeared in the Etherstorm saga with his own quests. J6 has his own zone and quests as well. Just a thought...plus I really like Diozz's style. :P

Thief of Hours has a glitch where the a skill DECREASES crit damage and chance instead of INCREASING it. It's a pretty big deal when skills do the opposite of what they're supposed to. Neilandio: MINIGAME: Many times in AQW we are tasked by the NPC in getting a determined number of ingredients to make a potion, weapon, etc, that will be used to defeat the boss in the area. So what if you make a minigame similar to doomcauldron in which you have to merge the ingredients in a determined order to make the item we need? Right now the only thing we do is give the ingredients to the NPC and then we battle the boss. SERVERS SCREEN: AQW has so many servers that the server selection screen looks awful and it's a mess, all the servers are so tiny. So here is my suggestion: right after you log in you see three lists with three or four servers each. The list on the left would be for member only servers, the one in the middle would be for moglin safe servers and the one on the right for the rest. The three or four servers that appear on these lists would be the least populated servers of the game, this way you can make sure that each server has approximately the same number of players, which will help with lag issues and with PvP (as said previously on the comments in this page the best server to play PvP is on Cysero because it's the most populated one, but with this suggestion all the servers would have a similar amount of players). There would also be a "Show all servers of this category button" above each list for people who always enter on the same server.

Micky: A class with the Mage manna regeneration has the advantage of regenerating manna by using it's skills. Good classes like this usually have manna costs proportionate to their damage. Troll Spellsmith has high manna costs, and regains a lot of manna when it's skills crit. Berserker is an offensive class with the ability to keep it's manna high while using all of it's skills. Defender is a "defensive" class that is forced to conserve it's manna, and therefore can't use it's skills as freely as a mage class. If it could, it would be AS GOOD as something like Berserker, but since it has the Warrior regeneration, it's really not... Warrior regeneration CAN work. It works best when the class either has low manna costs, lots of haste, long cooldowns, or manna gimmicks like Necromancer's "infect." Classes like Paladin, Necromancer, and VoT work great with the Warrior model. Classes like Defender, Evolved Clawsuit, and SkyGuard Grenadier are severely crippled because they cannot balance their manna. They don't have enough haste to make manna back quickly, and their skills are too expensive to keep up through a fight. This is all just part of my ideas for balancing out classes. I really don't think classes are as imbalanced as most people, I just think manna regeneration models give some classes an unfair advantage over others. The "warrior" model is used way too often in cases where it isn't preferable.

Micky: COMBAT: Make the melee hit detection in the game a little better. Currently ranged classes have a large advantage over melee ones in PvP and farming because their hit detection is automatic. Ninja and Rogue have a skill with "moderate" range. It would make sense to increase the hit detection of all melee attacks a bit to make everything more convenient for players. It would also help with the incredibly annoying "target out of range" errors that pop up so often for melee classes. This would greatly improve the gameplay for melee classes since it would allow players to target easily. They still wouldn't be able to target monsters across the room like a caster class, but they would at least be able to hit the monsters and players around them without getting error messages and lag.

LVXYZx: Guild Wars - self explanatory. Trainers- Act as mentors with quests to improve classes. Weapons - have some high level weapons with BETTER damage ranges than normal. (Example-Lvl 1 wep with 20-70 damage, then a level 50 wep with 200-300 damage) Party Play - EXP gold and drop boosts when in a party. This keeps people like me from just soloing the game. Battleon-ADD MUSIC. Emotes- /SHEATH. (Weapon on your back) Intro- Add another intro/promo cutscene to the game that shows an overview for the game, titled "Battle On!". Chat - Capitalize ALL letters that were INTENDED by the user to be capital. (Look at my name) Interface - Make the letters in our names and guilds above our heads higher definition. Create a Class - A member perk that allows for them to create, describe, and name their own class. This could go as follows: Members could have an armor forge to create a preset or unique armor for the class. Stat points would be applicable in any way, but you only get a certain amount per level and class rank. Also, you'd be able to choose what skills the class has, with each skill costing a certain amount and requiring a certain rank. (You could have a class of all powerful skills that unlock at rank 10) Finally, at rank 10, you could possibly change the auto attack speed and animation at the cost of something else to balance it. Hope you guys like these suggestions!!

I've actually botted one time before, and 1 minute later, I deleted it from my desktop. I think it's stupid that people get to cheat while other people spend up their lifetime getting what they wanted. I think you should do a surprise one every week or so, if not, every day. Lets get them cheaters!

DaTronix: MINI GAMES: I consider making wait for it CHESS "AQWORLDS STLYE" where you can play chess but with AQW characters and have cool animations, you can choose a selection of sets to play with to make it more interesting like a set where have king alteon and the good heroes of lore, sepulchure and his evil shadowsythe army, beleen and a army of pink monsters, nulgath and his archfiend army, dage and his legion, drakath and his chaos lords and followers and and army of DRAGONS and MORE!. and if there are certain pawn/characters you like but not in the same set you can customize a chess set of your own where you have a selection of monsters and characters to choose from and buil your chess army and you can battle players and there chess armies and earn and achievement called CHESS MASTER and it can be a rank in the game to like become rank 10 chess and you can buy new characters to customize your army. I think it be awesome what do you all think? feedback plz :D

Reason being is because at times I feel as though I can't communicate properly to other players about in-game questions/answers because the option isn't available. I believe updating said Canned Chat phrases would benefit a great amount of the player base. Examples: /Questions- Is that a "AC Only- Armor/ Class/ Weapon/ Helm/ Cape/ Pet?" /Meeting Up- "Your Gotos Are Blocked." /Questions Do you play- "Epic Duel/ Herosmash/ OverSoul?" /Answers I am Farming- "For A Class/ Weapon/ Helm/ Cape/ Pet." And last /Answers I got it as a "Monster Drop/ Quest Drop." I hope you guys at AE consider my suggestion as I really think it'll help the majority of canned chat players. Madax: MAP: The map feels outdated and almost useless as I and many others just use /join commands. Sure that's what /join is for... going somewhere when you know where you want to go... but what about those adventurers who are lost and need a new journey? I suggest the "Wayward Compass"! It could be placed in the grey-ish black sidebar on the map and would look like a compass. When clicked upon it reveals a drop down menu with the friendly prompt: "What "Kind of Adventure Are You Looking For?" And it could include "Chaos!" "Beginner Adventures" "Advanced Adventures" and "Classic Adventures". Of course those are just some suggestions. Also on the subject of Classic Adventures...
GAME PLAY: Releasing old releases but adding increases difficulty for today's older players who want to feel nostalgic but not like it's a newbie zone. (Not rare releases but releases still in game like Dwakel or Sleuthhound) These re-releases wouldn't change the plot of the release like a Wednesday release, but would add challenge and could also add some new rewards. The map name could be something like /join DwakelAdvanced.... I dunno, I'd just love to play some old releases again with out killing everything in a few hits.

Skyz: Experience points/Monsters/Character stats: You should adjust the experience points system, because all monster gives an average experience point like a few hundred. Make higher level monsters harder to kill, but also make them drop better experience points, this way people don't have to grind in pirates or in 1 place for a long time and it'll also make leveling easier. I understand level doesn't really matter in this game since the game pretty much makes everyone even and all you gotta do is get classes that are really strong to be stronger. Adjust the stats system, because enhancements should be giving bonus stats, not our standard stats. Also, what's the point of showing how much stats you have, you can't really change a thing? So I suggest you to make stats for different classes, like every rank you level up you get 10 stat points to distribute. So for e.g Warrior Rank 1 - 10 sp to distribute, either put them in str,dex,int,luk,hp,mp. That'll make a big difference to game and also shows what kind of warrior you are. So if you put all your stat points into hp from rank 1 - 10 you would be a 4000 hp warrior but just not strong. But when people wants to change there stats again, just simply make a store that resets your sp or better, make a button that resets whenever you want. What about character leveling up? - Well if you can you should make secondary stats for characters, like for every level you go up, you get points to put into skills like, Mana regen x1.2, Crit chance x1.2 ect. Now, monsters, the effects on the Bosses combat shouldn't be that fancy and also make them smaller because that'll reduce a lot of lag. If you want to put fancy skills to bosses or monsters, maybe considering making them use mp every time they use that special fancy skill? Since mp is pretty useless for monsters. Thank you~

BattleNoo: WEBSITE LAYOUT: Honestly, I don't think the homepage has a home-like feeling. Imagine you're a new player, and you enter the website, and you're welcomed by backdrop advertisements and what-not, I just kind of think the website has a rough looking layout. I don't quite know how to explain what's on my mind, but if I could get in further touch to maybe send a picture with a layout and go more in depth, that'd be great. I honestly think that advertisements should go further towards the bottom of the homepage, seeing how that IS part of your source of income being a free to play game and what not. I think the Menu bar could be fixed a little bit. For example, under the banner you could add a bar that redirects you to all the different sections of the site, About, Account, Support, Etc. And then when you mouse over it there's a drop-down menu and you can choose from there. I don't have a lot of time to post this, so Like I said before, if we could get in touch and possibly discuss and get more in-depth, that'd be nice. I have a ton more ideas but I need to go for now, I'll post tomorrow.

Qyp: GAME INTERFACE : In the Options button I would like to suggest that you include, DATE in addition to the already present SERVER TIME. This is important because due to the release of guilds and stuff like that, lots of players/guild dudes have been wanting to create meetings. but failed to do so due to timezone differences (some go late some go too early). Making us follow a single time zone would be better. (IT WOULD BE FUN IF AQW HAD ITS OWN DATE like for example,, january would be "insert epic name representing january here" and february would be "insert epic name representing february here" and so on.. and the year could be far more *fantasy like (e.g. AT 08 for alpha testing 2008 or GT ?? for gamma testing 20?? and stuff like that. XD

Blizzard: ITEM SYSTEM: I understand that rares are rares for a reason, but if someone possessed rares but cannot use them, what is the purpose? My suggestion is simple: If a member's-only item has a year attached to it that is over 2 years old, then it should be made non-member. This will give the old-time players that have lost interest in grinding for nothing, or just sitting around talking a reason to get back on and do something. Someone that has nothing left to do in the game has no reason to buy membership. Adding this system will allow players to come back and use their member's-only rare classes like Leprechaun 2011, 2010, 2009, or Clawsuit 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008. I think this would also bring you guys more memberships being bought. As weird as it seems, it's true; if a player sees an opportunity to get an item that is super-rare but it's member's only, they might buy membership for that month to buy it, then hold onto it for 2 years before using it. This doesn’t only stop at classes. This would also include weapons and pets*. Weapons like Blister’s Chainsaw are items that take time to obtain and people don’t want to part with them after they lose membership. This could be another way of saying thanks to those players that have spent time on the game, a long time ago. As for pets, I’m not sure if this is a good idea; pets are distinctly member’s items, besides a select few, including but not limited to the founders’ dragons. Taking this part of the game away from members might be a mistake. All-in-all this would be a great implementation, for the players and for Artix Entertainment.

Lumenos: CLASSES: To streamline the extent of classes and to give more direction in the game, give the 4 base classes two 'upgrades' each, with different skills/playstyle (One branch of the Warrior class could be focused on DPS, the other branch on tanking, etc.) that can be bought from a class trainer to replace the base class when it reaches Lv. 10. This will at least put to use your old first class that's been sitting in your bag/bank gathering metaphorical dust. Inspired by AdventureQuest, and also like AQ, I find that having a 'Level---/Class level---' requirement for the seriously powerful, top-tier classes would prevent players 'bribing their way to victory', for lack of a better word.

Asterisk: Classes: Anyone working on or dedicated to playing this game can tell you that classes are the core of gameplay. So why not put them all on truly equal footing instead of just giving another more health or telling us "You can always use potions! :)" What I'm talking about are classes like Deathknight that have been bugged since they were released. I'm talking about old classes like Rustbucket and it's clones falling by the wayside and becoming more and more useless due to underpowered skills and high mana costs. The first "specialist" class, Dragonslayer, being barely effective against dragons and pure garbage otherwise. Original Clawsuit with a terri-bad version of On Guard wasting a skill slot. It even had a passive that never worked and was finally removed from it's character overview last year. The classes in AQW are being treated the way they are in your single-player games, and that is not acceptable when there's so much less variation and possibility in this game's combat. I'm not asking for MORE, I'm asking for classes to be set right. Making existing classes useful will bring variety. At least more variety than we see now. I don't want to see any more non-member classes absolutely crushing every member class outside of Mindbreaker in both PvP and general usability. I don't want to see the question "Which class is best" HAVE an answer. What I want to see is a team of various classes working together and taking down a boss that can't just be beaten with a bunch of Thief of Hours. What I want to see in my inventory is a pantheon of different heroes I can be. But right now, I see A cube of dirty, unrecycled metal where Protosartorium is. Where Dragonslayer stands, all I really see is an empty gauntlet and a puddle of dragon's spit. In Deathknight I see a gaping hole with no signs of effort to fix it. And in the original Clawsuit, I see myself. It's been with AQW for a long time. Not the whole time, but long enough. Long enough to see member classes arrive that still stand strong today, like Bard... and then long enough to see them be under-promoted and mostly forgotten until someone notices me using it. What I'm saying is that there are classes that fall by the wayside, whether over time like Dragonslayer, losing usability by both being bad and losing its only exploit as Enforcer did, or having flaws out of the gate, like Deathknight or Thief of Hours. And that shouldn't happen, not when you're only as good as the class you choose.

Even if you gave the old classes I mentioned a passive that refilled it's mana entirely, that wouldn't make the skills good.

Tonemaro: Rank 10s were incentives to work with a class until you got to rank 10, and while I know that it won't solve the problem, I think it would help if every class had a rank 10. I know that it doesn't fix the fact that Dragonslayer hasn't been usable since Vath, but it might help the other classes. Throwing in new dragons might help bring the dragonslayer back in style. I remember how much work I put into getting all of those old classes, and I lament their fall into disuse/disrepair too.

(One half of the Warrior could focus on melee DPS, the other on tanking, etc.) These would then be bought from the class trainer to replace the original when the class reaches Lv. 10- which at least gives some value to your first base class apart from selling it! In addition, like the class system in AdventureQuest, I suggest that the powerful top-tier classes meant for high-level players gain a 'Level---/xxx Class Level---' requirement, to prevent players 'bribing their way to victory' with AC purchases.

Kind of like they do in DF, but make it more open so that some weapons have two elements. Like for example, a staff from an evil shop, depending on what it would be made out of wood/steel/mana, it could then apply an element, in this case, Darkness, to make it stronger. And each element would have it's strengths and weaknesses.

Mages should fire arcane orbs (or whatever mana thingies you prefer), wariors and rogues attacks to look a bit different, archers firing ARROWS and not hitting with bows (someone was asleep in Fight101 I guess). All in all: A lot of classes should have specific auto attacks because they all seem simillar in the beggining...

Kae: MAPS: Make a list in which players can add shortcuts to maps using /join without needing to type in chat. For example, I would put on my list /battleontown, /sandport, /arcangrove. That way, when you open the list you can use it as a shortcut to these maps. The maps still must obey certain rules, such as they can not be accessed if necessary quests are not completed. Is simply a list of shortcuts, so the player does not have to type /join so many times, just add the maps that he visit more frequently.

Artix: We *could* use ASWD to move. Selecting targets could be done with tab, and attacking can still be done with the hot keys 1-5. We would just need to figure out how to transmit movement information in a way that is compatible with the mouse click. Perhaps on key up?

Odsey: House, for now its now for decoration purpose. I would like a gameplay instead of a decoration. Maybe a npc that is random every time we visit our house and has some quest. Maybe some npc that we have complete the quest. But the npc would not be too much. And maybe for the quest, it could introduce a new area where we fight some monster and kill them to complete the quest. It could also be another quest instead of killing monster but still involve in the new area.If this happen it could add more variety in house and make house more fun instead of decoration. And the area doesnt has to include realy cool monster. Maybe just a unique monster but doesnt really hard to implement?

Ultimumlord: Item Drops: Make an automatic check box in every drop item and let player choose either to get the item automatically or manually (to stop the automatic mode open item and uncheck the box there). This will help with farming and for war items that drop constantly. I kill many opponents at once and they all drop the items and it all gets messy quick all the items lined up in the window. This will fix many bugs and decrease lags, if it works like how I stated it.

Tonemaro: GAMEPLAY/CLASSES: I'm sure that many high level players have figured out that you can't get gold, xp, or class points from monsters that are 20 levels lower than you. Also, the higher your level is compared to the monster's level, the fewer class points you get (although XP is unaffected). This means that there are very few places to go if you want to rank up; /pirates, /timespace, and the like. I have two suggestions to deal with this problem: 1) include more high level monsters and change older bosses to have higher levels 2) alter the game engine so you get at least a little rep from every monster, even if it's only some miniscule amount like 5 (kind of like the xp you get from sneevils in dragonfable).

Betasword: PVP - During the original PTR I had a ton of fun in aqw, sure there was exploits with necromancer and all those odd bugs, but it was fun, pvp was quick and concise,little lag and FUN. You didn't need to create a plan with a bunch of team mates who will just ignore you you can just go out and kill and see who wins. On that note the PTR version of paladin was my favorite version of it, i think it was taken out because it was unbalanced but I think it's on par with today's classes. Just food for thought.

Betasword: Gameplay - Most quests are repetitious and boring, kill x amount of monsters, pick up x amount of items etc. not a design fault but it gets boring after a while. The tutorial really stood out for me, having serval walk around, and following her added to the excitement and made me feel like i was doing something. It also felt like it was a faster pace, like there was something that needed to be done instead of just doing it at whatever pace i wanted to. Things like that, and anything else that really stands out during a quest would be awesome to see in new releases.

Betasword: Interface - The interface feels bulky, and it really gets in the way when you have anything open, if it could be slimmer, or resizeable and maybe have a setting to set opacity would be good. Returning to the quest giver after every quest at the beginning of the map is also tiresome, I like what you did with several areas like the span, and the watch tower where you could click on a pop-up of warlic to talk to him and accept his quests.

Betasword: Wars - Wars tend to be boring and tedious, killing monsters over and over and over and over (get my point) and over again. Farming quests, and merge items don't really help as you still do the same thing over and over again. My suggestion would be to add minigames, or other methods of defeating monsters/waves on top of the method of just killing em. Completing quests (like actual quests with story not quests you turn in repeatedly) could give bonus monsters/waves defeated but can only be completed once. Like I said earlier, having npc's that move around makes me feel more involved in the story, so maybe having interactive cutscenes (cutscenes the occur w/o taking you out of the game) might be a nice break from the tedium

Betasword: Sound - Having the same sounds in combat continually is rather irksome. Maybe different weapons could be given a type that causes different sounds effects when you use it in battle (kind of like elements in aq, but it doesn't have to make a difference in battle, just aesthetic)Like have swords sound like a clang on metal (like when the dragonfable dragonlord blocks with the shield) or having a staff go "Thunk!" or a ball of energy go Zzzap! I know it's a lot to ask but it would make the overall feel of the game a lot better and more polished. On another note, I feel that items aren't unique, I mean they all look different but other than dmg ranges they all do basically the same thing, enchantments are the same on all of em, no special bonuses... you get the point. I know it might be too much to ask for all items to be unique, but what if certain items, say swords give increased dmg/str bonus, maces give increased endurance, staves give intellect bonus and so on, (like augmenting the enchantments, making certain enchantments more powerful with the right weapon.) It would give a lot of meaning to choosing the right weapon and would give more flexibility to making character builds.

Tonemaro: The problem with this is that enhancements significantly increase a player's power, and non-member pets are extremely rare. Also, armors are for aesthetics only, so those people who prefer the class art would be disadvantaged. It's still a good idea, though, particularly with pets.

Deo!: CLASSES: Removing the word "class" from the few classes that include the word in the class name itself, would look much nicer both ingame and on character pages as not all classes have it in the name, and the biggest issue, some classes like evolved leprechaun or doomknight overlord have longer names, and you cant see your rank ingame! It just looks a bit messy, it would be much nicer if all classes had the word removed from the class' name.

LVXYZx: "CREATE-A-CLASS": This is basically an entirely new thing, but not a new concept. Players would be able to create their own class to play with. This custom class would have preset armors, or armor parts to use as the class armor. (The parts would all be CC.) Also, The custom classes would be able to have assignable stat points! (This means that you can have a class that focuses on all STR and nothing else, or you could have a perfect hybrid.) Although, you'd obtain stat points (SP) by leveling up, and ranking up the custom class! This class would also have its own assignable skills. This means that you'd be able to purchase and earn skills for your custom class, like in HeroSmash, EXCEPT these skills would require a rank! (You could literally have a custom class of all powerful rank 10 skills and use no skills until rank 10!) But, it could be a good idea to have the skills you use consume a number of SP, as to balance the class out. Also, since this is a custom thing, and could spark major lag, I suggest that this "Create-a-Class" system actually be Member Only, as to limit any problems caused! Hope you guys like this idea as much as I do!

BattleNoo: WEBSITE LAYOUT: The first thing a new player is going to think when greeted by backdrop ads, Side sponsors, a jumble of buttons laid out all over, is "Where do I do, what do I do, what is going on?" I've created a representation of an interface change I feel should be implemented. I wasn't sure what websites you supported so I uploaded on tinypic. Not only did I adjust the homepage, but also the battle bar. Let me explain what I did. When you first look at this you're going to see a whole lot of empty. You're going to see space that feels like it needs to be used up. It doesn't. Everything you need is right there. The bars at the top (Account, About, Games, Etc.), should drop down to redirect to any pages that match the category. I took all the important buttons, icons, etc. and organized them in a fashion that was easy on the eyes and easy to get around. It helps new players to get where they need to go. That's the main thing. It needs to feel like home. For the Battlebar, what I did was pretty much just rearrange, as I did for the homepage. I've added 3 new buttons I feel are necessary to maneuver around Artix's websites rather than just AQW's website itself. The About button should redirect to a page explaining the history of Artix, how it came to be, what it is today, your personal motivation, and whatever else you feel like publicly explaining about the industry. Portal should just redirect to the portal.battleon.com website, and the Artix button should redirect to Artix.com so they can see progress on other games, updates, that sort of thing. Feel free to use this however you like, add to it, take from it, adjust it, whatever. It's all yours, and I'm hoping you'll at least consider using it. BattleNoo: WEBSITE FUNCTION: I would have added this to my previous post but the other one was getting kind of long, and what i'm about to suggest, while it does have to do with the website, it doesn't have a whole lot to do with the layout. What you should do is completely revamp the account management page. Allow you to manage memberships, change account information, delete your account (I don't know why you would want to do that though), and basically just leave everything you have right now, but redesign so it doesn't look so bland. I feel some more features should be added. You should be able to adjust your character page from there. You should be allowed to change your character's facial expression on your character page, move badges/achievements around (Say you want to show off that you're a king fisher by making it your first badge), Titles should be added and you should have the ability to manage your title from there, other fun little perks like that. I'm not sure how excited the players, let alone the Artix team would be about this one, but maybe allow you to purchase special backgrounds not available in game, change the backdrop theme (Lords of Chaos, Savior of Lore, etc.), using ACs or Gold, for a large pouch of gold, that is. But ALSO allow you to unlock backdrops, for finishing a string of quests, being a beta or alpha tester or member, purchasing a certain weapon or pet, participating in in-game events, and stuff like that. You should also be able to access the forums from there.

BattleNoo: BOOK OF LORE: Good Grief, this really bummed me out when the new book of Lore was released, considering I was really looking forward to it. My personal goal was to complete all of the stories in the book of lore, which was made difficult for me when the new book was released. When you go to Story and click on the story you want to continue/start, it immediately takes you to the starting point, regardless of where you are in the story. If it wouldn't be a biggie do you think you could possibly revert it to how it was before where you clicked the story and it displayed what you completed, what you haven't, and where you needed to go. That was a big help. If you can't completely revert that section of the book, do you think you could at least have it teleport you to the location you need to go to in order to continue the story. Thanks. Also, if it's not a big deal, I kind of miss the book of Lore's face. You know, the one with blue eyes and sticking his tongue out? If you could bring him back, that'd be awesome too :D

theDRAG0NMASTER: FEATURES: I think that there should be a place where you can go that spawns, say, slimes that are moderate difficulty, and the room is tailored to your level. this would make a good xp source, and be a good thing for players to do when they cant find anything else. and maybe have a double xp version for members? also members should be able to choose which monsters they want to battle. also for nonmembers and members, there should be a ultra hard versions of the monsters, where for every 15 or so monsters, you get 5 adventure coins.

Striikeryuz: LVXYZx: "CREATE-A-CLASS": This is basically an entirely new thing, but not a new concept. Players would be able to create their own class to play with. This custom class would have preset armors, or armor parts to use as the class armor. (The parts would all be CC.) Also, The custom classes would be able to have assignable stat points! (This means that you can have a class that focuses on all STR and nothing else, or you could have a perfect hybrid.) Although, you'd obtain stat points (SP) by leveling up, and ranking up the custom class! This class would also have its own assignable skills. This means that you'd be able to purchase and earn skills for your custom class, like in HeroSmash, EXCEPT these skills would require a rank! (You could literally have a custom class of all powerful rank 10 skills and use no skills until rank 10!) But, it could be a good idea to have the skills you use consume a number of SP, as to balance the class out. Also, since this is a custom thing, and could spark major lag, I suggest that this "Create-a-Class" system actually be Member Only, as to limit any problems caused! Hope you guys like this idea as much as I do!

Tonemaro: Perhaps you could just take skills from current classes and mix and match them instead of coming up with new skills. While this could lead to some unbalanced characters (for instance, somebody with 4 different stuns, buffs, or heals wouldn't be fun to fight) it would still create a lot of variety. And the class could be named after yourself.

Micky: EXPLORATION: Have a system where the /join function doesn't work for a player unless that player has already found the map on his own. In addition, make places not appear on the map until the player has found them by walking. This will make the game more engaging for players because it will offer some real exploration. Once you've SEEN the map, you can /join it whenever you want.

Nimero: PVP/ENHANCEMENTS/ACCESSORIES/VARIATION: Enhancements that freeze, heal or power up are nice, but they are favored just for their random abilities. Instead I believe it would be a nice idea to ad random skill powers to PvP necklaces and other accessories not enhancements. Each accessory would have its own random skill that has a 5 to 15% activation chance(depending on the power of the skill), so they would have their own effects in PvP and outside it. For example all the current accessories would have their HP increase in PvP and whatever skill you see fit as a passive overall the game, starting with ones that we already have. Like all basic PvP amulets would have a 10% chance for a 5,7 and 10% luck increase, the medals from the Lorelympics shop would have damage boost or whatever. After that you could ad accessories to all the rep shops for rank 10 *insert name here* faction. Lycan would have a STR and DEX boost, Vampire - a HP drain, Cronospan - a stun, Dwarfhold - a damage reduction, Good would get at full party Hot while Evil gets a chain Dot.

Lumenos: WEAPONS: Special attacks! I'm sure it's been suggested, but I think that equippable specials (applied by enhancements) or in-built specials would make every weapon unique. Some specials would be 'charged' by dealing damage, others would randomly activate. I think this would enhance strategy (should I activate my spec? Or should I leave it for a KO?) and randomness in a fight, esp. the PvP ones.

Nimero: You know what would would work great with that - the ability to not target yourself. It is really problematic in wars and during intense farming. That goes for every self-target skill. There should be a way to apply the skill without targeting yourself. Or the option to auto-target someone else when you "can't attack that target"(when you can't attack a target with that attack the skill auto-targets a suitable target).

Artix: That brings up a good question... why CAN we target ourselves? If you have an enemy targeted, any self skill should automatically be applied to self. I am trying to think if situations like being able to target yourself to kick yourself out of the trap door in the Paladin Castle is worth this improvement.

Tonemaro: WAR SYSTEM: I enjoyed how in the Etherstorm War (and Bloodtusk and DagevNulgath) you could fight for multiple sides. It adds excitement and competition to the wars (even IF evil always wins) and creates a variety of rares. It's another way to show your allegiance but the great part is no matter who you fought for you still got local rep. All wars should be like that.

Tonemaro: PVP: More and different PVP areas. Bludrut Brawl is great and all of that, but something new would be cool, add variety, and change up PVP to get more people involved. Obviously, if you dilute the pool of PVPers across several rooms it would be harder to create a match, so instead you might just join "group PVP" and then end up in a random and unique PVP area, like Bludrut, the Lair, Swordhaven, or anywhere else on the map.

Tonemaro: Originally, class was put in to differentiate armors from classes, especially when there are two of the same name. Hence, Dragonlord Class and Dragonlord Armor. That's also why the old base classes now have (rare). Two items can't have the same name. I'm pretty sure that that would mess with the game engine.

hurricane9999: Quest: you should put a jump to NPC button in the quest log so you can warp to the NPC if the item you need is in a different area. This would be like epic duel's function. Also if you had a quest complete button on the quest log that would help if you had had 2 NPC's in the same area but one you needed to go to after you help the first NPC.

Cae11: Account Management and Security: I noticed that when a lot of people are hacked, the hacker sells items valuable to the victim, and/or delete the account. So, what if you had optional password protection on the players bank? This would not only help protect items while they are having their account recovered, but also keep real life "Enemies" from pulling mean pranks. I also think that removing character deletion could be a good idea. The only reason is that when you delete a character, the username isn't even made free to use again, which makes it seem a little useless.

Nimero: CLASS/VARIETY: There many types of classes in AQW like power, tanks, lucky, multy-hit, debuff, caster supporters, melee dodge types and unique hybrids and most of them do not fit in any single type. Some time ago the AE team wanted to introduce the Dreamweaver class(it was an option, but it didn't really feel like a Dreamweaver) to SkyGuard(Nightmare Child) and same could be said about Illusionist(they both didn't feel right), so here is a new type of class whose name you have already mentioned in-game - Trickster types. For those who do not know a trickster is a wise and intelligent person(being) that beliefs the rules or society or nature are simply optional, so therefor can be broken if necessary(and they do break them), although they aren't physically superior in most ways tricksters play their own game whose rules are undefined even for themselves(we do what we must to survive and that sometimes results in partial insanity). Put in AQW terms a trickster is dodge type caster or caster/hybrid class with the same mana regeneration model as rouge and therefor is dodge, hit, haste, crit based(maybe they flunked magic school and decided to roll with it). Being casters is the main reason why they are unique besides casting illusions, becoming invisible, using subliminal messages, hypnosis, gravity, sound, telepathy, fireworks, smoke and smoke bombs, teamwork, seeing the future, enhancing guns with poisonous bullets or something like that. So if you ever want a Dreamweaver, Illusionist, Chaosweaver, Warlock(it could be a trickster), RiftShifter, Arc-Trickster, HypnoBard, Psihomancer(ask Kimberly what that is) or Psychic class then a Trickster(dodge type caster) is the way to go.

You could click it yourself and it will change it's look from the normal choco bunny into the Were Choco Bunny. It was the first and ONLY Owner Clickable item in AQW. After that item. Other items can be changed how they look by clicking on them. But that got switched to ANYONE Doing that. And if you clicked your item. It wouldn't change for everyone else. I am pretty sure this was due to lag at the time. So what i am suggesting., Is that you bring back the Owner Only Clickable items. Because like it been talked about in the DN's "lag" has been chopped down or reduced. So why not have another look at this idea again?

Opening up a complaint section about moderators might cause a misfunctioning of the Help System. I do subscribe your other two suggestions though.

JeffTechnoWiz: DOOMWOODPART2/ITEMS/MERGESHOP/QUESTS: Basically. What always confused me the most in DoomWood part 2. Was the endless grinding. That your going to be doing to earn the BLoD or Seppys Armor. Yet what worry me the most. The BLoD isn't that different from any other weapon in AQW. There no undead trigger. There nothing that makes it special. All it really earns you.. Is to say you wasted your time. Meanwhile in Dragonfable. if I were to earn the BLoD. It would be upgrable and it had a SIMPLE DOT trigger on it. Sure no undead trigger. But it made it a bit more useful then it AQW Counter part. Now back to Seppy's armor. What worrys me. Is it really just going to be a Darker red Doomknight armor? If so. What really giving me a purpose to go forward and earn it? Nothing really. Now onto Merge Shops and Quests. What I found shocking about this. It seems to lack any Member only quests/ways to SPEED up the grinding. Maybe skip a level of the grinding? Maybe a few member only quests that offers MORE items? Just something to speed it up. It always nice for members to have more reasons to be a member.

Kae: RARES: this is not a request for return of rare items, is simply a request to create less rare items in the future. Rare items are good but I think the amount of rare items that is being created lately too big. In a single week is possible that a store contains rares enough to occupy all inventory of a character. I believe this exaggerated amount of rare items instead of adding value to them makes them less valuable, disposable. I suggest that only the most popular items during an event, season or war and special offers become rares. Again I clarify that it should apply only to future items.

It would most likely do some damage and just look good. Which would mean. It would lose something that made it special AND rare. Being it function. AKA The ability to give enemys -100 ICE resist. Plus having rares coming out every single week or 2nd week. It shouldn't happen that often. Heck it even happening for.. Well pretty much anything. Yes I know it up to the player if they want those items. But what should sell me on rares. If they "did" something more then just damage and look pretty. When I hold up my rare Surpmre Dragon King Axe in AQC. I know it can do damage. Look great. But also tranforms my character into the boss of that war. Basically What I am asking for. Give rare items. Let alone items in general. A greater purpose! Make them more useful! Make them worth keeping. But also worth dusting off and bring out. I could in MQ/DF/AQC take out any old rare. Even if it a bit under level and still find that item useful. Even if I was 10 levels above it.

What about trading Miscellaneous Items (http://aqwwiki.wikidot.com/misc-items)?
AE can enable only some of them, and set a street price, so people wouldn't be able to scam others by selling items for too much coins.
Of course, you would be able to change the selling price a little, for example by max +-20k coins.
AE can also add a better system for this, with selling and buying (demand) price affecting the street price.
Some people can say, that with this type of trade Legion items will become "buyable". And that is true. That's why not all misc. items should be added to trading system.

I see this that way:
For example, AE can add new quests, which will require hard to get drops (misc. items) from monsters, other quests, minigames, and you can use them to get an awesome item, unlock a shop or etc. There are many possibilities.
One person doesn't want to fight endlessly with monsters, so he decides to buy the required item. He visits Battleon, and talks with other players about buying the item he wants, looking for the best offer.
And then, the seller get the money he wants, and the buyer get what he wants. Everyone is happy.
This will introduce a new way to get money in AQW, so with trading the money limit should be lifted.

And I'm coming back to the "Legion items will become "buyable"" - if the buyer will be happy, and the seller will be happy, then why not?
Trading can be the first step to change the economy, the look of AQW and gameplay.
What do you think? Is this a good idea, or I am just thinking too much? :P

If only armors gave players HP bonuses, and PvP matches didn't take 1 minute... People could actually use potions and food in PvP, which they bought from other players, or made in tradeskill. This should make PvP more interesting.

Verkone: WARS: Here's a shocking idea...make it feel like a war. It can't be just me, but whenever Sepulchure is involved with something you know you're in for a treat. In the release Drakath interfered in the Alteon/Seppy fight You had to help protect the wall, evacuate citizens, gathered enemy info. Same thing in the DW II war.

We should be taking Key points in our enemies cities and vice-versa. Buildings should be destroyed (Lots of Health) and be taken over by enemies or allies. It's hard to explain with words but thisis how I envision the Good and Evil war after Chaos is beaten.

Good and Evil must spread their influence across the continent gaining allies, support, and territory. The two warring alignment will have a total of 10 skirmishes. For every single territory under their control that alignment gets a 1% boost to their victory meter. For every enemy building destroyed that alignment earns a total of 100 medals. For every building rebuilt you get 50 waves added to your victory meter. Here is an example for another idea. Every monster is aggro to the opposite alignment and the war zones will be PvP. For every time a monster kills a player (Example: Evil NPC kills Good player Evil earns 5 medals.) This will create at least some Team work.

This could also incorporate King of the Hill. Whichever alignment hold the hill for a total of 300 points (300 seconds) will capture that area and will add 300 medals to their victory meter. You must capture every single area/hill to win. This is will hopefully motivate people to want to win. Also, the skirmishes for the non capitals of the Good and Evil empires will add to the victory meter in the final battle. Then you have to win the Skirmish in the final base to claim victory.

AkizaBullseye: Character standings: I don't mean PVP I mean have the same standing still animations that character creation has but in game and added as automatic animations (Think as automatic as blinking). I'm thinking that with this added, the game will end up feeling more "lively" as the characters won't just be standing still like statues, they will be ALIVE! Please consider this as a possible idea as I think it would be a "great" addition thanks.

Jet: COMBAT: Add Elements to the game. I know this would probably take a long time to implement, but I think it would be worth it. Think about it. Armors could have uses giving unique Elemental Resistances, instead of just being for appearances. It'd make the story more meaningful. Vordred being immune to light will mean something because characters can now use Light weapons and attacks. And it'd be one more step towards combat being more strategic and making the character equip the right item, rather than just charging in blindly. You can't just attack Living Fire with a fire weapon now. It will do barely any damage, or maybe none, or maybe HEAL IT. It would definitely add more variety.

It is known that you are going to rebuild Battleon, so making new Npcs That can speak in different languages depending on the battleon, Like spanish talking Npcs in BattleonSp. They might help players to understand better game dynamics in their own language, it might be great. :D

Dragonmand: Armor: i like all the new armors you've made trough the years but one thimg i don't like is when you show the back shouldder on the armor, because it doesn't move with the shadow arm and block certain emotes. and on some armors i can see that the shadow shoulder is mirrored where for example on armors like skull crusher and missiletoe it just looks wered. so what i suggest is that you ether remove or make the shown back shoulder move able like the shadow arm and on certain armors like the once above, mirror the shadow shoulder in the same way as the front. p.s. mabe you could on armors with shown back shoulders, make the shadow hand overlap the shouder so it doesn't block the emotes. thanks. :)

Dragonmand: Cutcenes and in game NPC's: i always like your cool and funny animated cenes you make between quests, especially when you voice act them. so what i suggest is that when you have some free time in the lap, you could try voice act all your NPC's and cutcenes, so when new players comes to the old areas, they can get the full expiriance of the game! maybe you could put a play button on the NPC's so the players can choose to hear your voices or not, because i really want to hear how awsome! all the heroes and villans in AQW sounds like. thanks. :D

Dragonmand: Book of lore: i like how the book of lore is revamped but i miss the AE event cutcenes that was in the bottom of the book and the old story section. so what i suggest is that you make a place for the event cutcenes like the birthday and wedding events and make the story pictures able to open a story select area wher you can see where you are in one of the story and quick travel to an old boss and see the story cutcenes whenever you like. i too suggest you make something similair in the quest section so you can see which quests you missed to get a 100%. thanks. :)

Dragonmand: class armor: i know you said that i should post armos on the forum but i don't know how! so my idea was a rare hunter class armor witch had the hidden ability to icreace the chance to get a rare item as it level up! i too had the idea that it's healing power is that you have a sack of random posions you picked up in your seach for rare items witch can ether heal you 1hp or give you a full heal or somewhere between and should have a build that work together with warrior, rouge and luck enchantmets. maybe you could make a fusion of them and call them rare hunter enchantments? my idea for the look is that they should look like an armored version of Trey Shurehunter and Valencia with a sack of posions put over the shoulder like a shoulder bag. but because of the hidden power, i suggest if you like my idea that it's going to be expencive to get like, giving Valecia a big amount of gold or ac's. or quest for an item called rare item and then collect maybe like 1000 of them and excange them for the class and seperate armor pieces. thanks :)

Dragonmand: class armor: i have another class idea based on Lionfang. my idea was a class where you where an armor that looks like Lionfang's while riding a lion! the name of it should ether be Lionfang class or lion rider class and it's fighting animasion should be that the lion attacks the enemie while you use a whip to make ti fight faster or increase it's strength! and give it meat to heal it. you could too use the whip to whip your opponant and give him a D.O.T. (damage over time) because of the pain of getting whipt! it should too have it's own movement build, so, when you heal it should lay down like a normal animal and when you get defeated it should fall down on it's stomach and the rider should lean backwords and get confused stars above his head. my idea was that if you like it it could be the class you can get at the end of the Lionfang chaoslord story. thanks. :) p.s. i think the rare hunter armor in my previous post should be an ac item because it's rare. :)

It can be based on a algoritm.. which in his case is based on the time between the last attack and the /rest command.. If the time between the last attack and the 1st new /rest command is lower than the lowest manual measurement.. The person get's kicked / banned for botting.

AkizaBullseye: Color Pallet and Character Customization: I've just wrestled with the color pallet trying to get my color custom hood to match my RuneHawk uniform in AQWorlds. (RuneHawk all the way!) I think a Eye-Drop item or device for color pallets will help greatly as I've been going back and forth between tabs of color pickers and pallets, and STILL I'm not in the right direction with these particular shades. ;~; This WOULD really help players that frequently use CC type items and equips, that and the ability to favorite and save colors. Maybe even add a color-search panel or bar too? Sorry but I'm kinda throwing out ideas here. :P Thanks!

And your AQW in-game screen will have this tower of items going up and down it? Asking you this simple question? "WIll you take this item?" And you know your going to have to click a dozen times or more? Well how about we add something called a DROP Box. It will only show up if there drops. Or you can open it up and move it around. Like you can with your Quest Log. Instead of displaying and spamming drops in the middle of your screen while your fighting monsters. It will just put it all into this handy little drop box. Where you can accept ALL drops at once or you can get rid of all of them at once. Plus how many drops you got! It would be very handy for farmers.

It would maybe only work with non CC items because the point of it would be to get an exact colour so matching non colour custom items with colour custom items could be made easier. I know it probably sounds farfetched but, it's a thought. Colour Customization tools: A way to save and or favourite (star or highlight) specific colours with a favourites max of 6 or something. Maybe enough for a few whole sets and since there's 3 squares it might work out as you get 2 slots for favourite colour sets or 6 open save spots for colours.

I think it would be a nice feature if there where some areas that could only be accessed by players who have reputation rank 10 in the faction of the place the area is in. The mysterious Strangers appears the Vath one night and offers him dark power and a chance for revenge, but secretly intends to use Vath as a pawn in his own plot.] There could also be elite factions shop that could only be accessed by players with verified AQ, DF or MQ accounts (must match the faction) that could offer highly sought after rep 10 classes such as Ultra Guardian and Evolved Dragon Lord.

JRVthatsME: CORRECT THE DRAGON LORD CLASS: The original version of the AQW Guardian class did not suit the actual Guardian class and so a more accurate version was created and the original turned into the Defender class. The AQW Dragon Lord class is nothing like the actual Dragon Lord Class and is most often used as a sort of dark warrior class (to which its skills are more suited). I think a more accurate AQW Dragon Lord class should be created (that is balanced with the other verification shop classes and maybe be able to summon a baby dragon battle pet) and the original AQW Dragon Lord class be turn into some type of dark warrior themed class (something like Dread Knight or there abouts). I think this would boost membership in AQ, DF and MQ and also add to many players enjoyment of AQW by providing a non member dark warrior themed class.

JRVthatsME: ENHANCEMENTS or EMPOWERING ITEMS for OLD CLASSES: Many of us still like the old classes but the new classes that have been released greatly outmatch them power wise. I think a means of modifying the old classes so that they would be more in line with the power of the new classes would be welcome by many players. A difficult to create (since new rep classes are time consuming to attain) class enhancement of doom/destiny or wearable item (a ring like Sir Malifact had for example [ring of doom/destiny]) might me doable and be able to achieve this. Which ever version is doable should make sure that the class its used on gain mana from getting hit and hitting enemies (since all new classes do) and if the class has no level 10 passive skill gives a proc (that acts like a level 10 passive skill) which would give the play a small heal and a minor short term power boost with a visual effect that suits the doom or destiny versions.

Master_Yi: Actually, I believe it is more or less true that having 999999999 etc gold on all accounts would end up taking up a lot of memory on the game server. Given that AQW is probably the most complex game in AE up to date, they probably have some sort of reason for this. AQ original and all the other games so far have all been single player RPGs, however with AQW being multi-player, there are probably more difficulties than just "simple numbers". I'm not saying that any theories are incorrect, but I just want you to try keeping your conscience open to more than just one view.

Paatar: Trading or Auction house (more): I do realize how many times AE has announced that there will never be trading, but if you really do think about it, that would bring the popularity of this game up a lot and so therefore, it would be better for AE's business. Another example would be myself, I'd be buying ACs like crazy if this happened because there are many rares I wish I had. Again, every player desires this and every player does know AE probably won't add this. It is something to think about though.

Rank 10 classes or other hard-to-get items will just require you to find the right guy and find the right price. That devalues the rares and is an insult to everybody who worked hard to get the rares the right way. That's why I don't want trading.

Paatar: I'm mostly talking about the Auction house. First of all, it wouldn't devalue rares. The item would just be going from one account to another, so therefore there are still the same amount of rares in the game it is just with someone else. It won't promote scammers not one bit. Scammers only scam for fun or because the account they're trying to get has an item they want, and if that item is selling in the auction house, they have no reason to scam. Classes would have filters, such as Cardclasher and Chronomancer would do, even rep classes, and the only way to get those classes would be if you met the requirements. So the Auction house would have a POSITIVE impact on the game more then a negative impact.

Paatar: Well actually a lot of what you said isn't true. AE can put a filter on certain classes such as one's you need to buy through heromart or Toys R us, and rep classes and the only way to buy those classes would be if you met the requirements. It wouldn't insult anyone with the rare thing because there would still be a very limited amount of the items people have, so it wouldn't devalue them cause they would just be getting transferred to other accounts, meaning the same amount of them will still be in the game. Also, it wouldn't promote scammers, it would make those scammers be able to get the items easier through the auction house rather then scamming people to get their accounts. The only reason why people scam is either for fun, or because they have an item they want. And if that item is in the Auction house, they have no reason to scam.

Tonemaro: When I say scammers,I don't just mean people who hack. It's a broad category, ranging from hackers to people who would trick others into a bad trade. Adding in an Auction House wouldn't remove the incentive for everybody to scam and might actually provide incentives for MORE people to scam. And trading would devalue rares. The value of a rare is more than just a price or the number in circulation. It's like the newly minted Master Ranger Class: rares are rares because they are hard to get, and are status symbols. This extends to more than just the verification classes, though. I worked hard to get all of my classes, ranging from Chronocorruptor to Vindicator of They. I farmed for the stuff, did rep quests, and poured a lot of time into it. The same goes for my other rares. If somebody can just buy it at the auction house, suddenly they get the same status symbol, the same rare, without any of the work. That's why I'm particularly happy about Master Ranger, and kind-of miffed by the AC Class shop. Anyways, I think trading should never be implemented, and even though there are rares that I want I would never take part in it even if it was. I originally commented on here to refute your claim that eveybody wants trading. Artix and Cysero have said numerous times that it won't happen, and I'm perfectly happy with that. I don't want this extremely fun game to just degenerate into a "rich-kid" sort of thing where you could "buy ACs like crazy," as you said, and get almost anything you want. There are no perfect people, only perfect intentions. Trading may seem like a good idea at first, but personally I will argue against it because it is a profoundly broken system that is inappropriate for any online MMO, at least in my opinion. I like AE because it is fun and different, because of the community, the jokes, and the fact that they hold themselves to a higher standard. Not trading, if it isn't already, should be a part of that standard.

Tonemaro: I understand that I'm mostly using classes as my examples, which makes you guys think that a class filter would fix the problem. However, I'm only using classes as examples because most of my rares are classes. There are a lot more rares out there that a lot of players enjoy. I'm just a class-centric guy. I know that the Undead Legion stuff and the Nulgath stuff would also be affected by trading, particularly the Legion. And have you ever heard of "Gold Farming?" I'm sorry if my only using classes is confusing you guys as to my concerns, which are wider, but my rares are classes so I use examples that I have. I think trading is cool. There's something about it. But I don't think it works and I agree with Artix and co when I say that it shouldn't be implemented.

Tonemaro: Another thing that I just thought of is the effect of enhancements. Putting a member enhancement on an item doesn't turn it into a member item. Enhancements only change the power and level of an item. This means that if you have a friend who is a member (non-mem if you are) you can just exchange an item, enhance it, and trade it back to give the other person an overpowered item. Well, not overpowered, but you get my point. Member enhancements are for members. Allowing trade is just another way for something rare or special to be manipulated. Maybe it's weird or twisted that I'm thinking of all the ways trading could break or be manipulated, but overthinking stuff and worrying about possible failures/issues is just what I do.

9m694: PVP: It would be so awesome if you guys made some more maps for PvP. and a way to select or vote for what map you play on. and a way to see how many people are queued for battle. maybe make some kind of battle arena. and make a way to keep score of how many kills and deaths you obtain, maybe put your kill death ratio on your character page or something like that. and make some kind of crazy hard to get item for all the really good Players. Im serious about that last part make some PvP reward items so difficult to get only a few of the best players will have them. but definitely work on the PvP part of the game cause it has some potential.

9m694: collapse into a pile of bones. they should make a member necromancer with a customizable skeleton, put your own helmets, capes and weapons from your inventory on it. even better sell a battle skeleton pet that dies when you die for a couple thousand acs that you can put your armors and what not onto it.

AkizaBullseye: Combat Arena: I was originally thinking of fighting PVE monsters and being able to scale and chose what level and maybe what species or type of monster to fight. (Will help with experience collection and could have quests to complete-or challenges!) This could be the place to go for PVP as well. Maybe have two entrances into the building with PVE on one side and PVP on the other side. I'm thinking "duplex".

AkizaBullseye: Heaven Theme: I'm kinda sad that most releases have Evil shops, Evil maps with NPCs and a Evil storyline now too?! Don't get me wrong here, I love the new race and story but, we need more good everything it seems! I'm hoping for angels, archangels quests where you watch over, protect, and actually "help" people instead of "go kill this amount of a monster then kill another ten dozen of that monster". Pretty please can we at least get a Diablo game spoof with the Archangels? It would maybe help to balance out all the Evil maps and such. (I think and HOPE) Also, most places don't seem to have a stated or clearly noted alignment. Are we just supposed to guess? Could that be uhm noted or something? I for one can't tell if the dwarfs are neutral, lawful, or good for example. Maybe add a police station or court or something like that with the races and their typical alignments noted with them.

Master_Yi: PVP: Make a battle royale mode for PvP. It would probably end up as a chaotic slaughter house of Trolls, Chunins, and AoEs all over the place, but it'd be fun! It would probably have a bar somewhere on the screen showing the active score of all the players in the arena. Making allies in BR would be interesting, preventing friendly fire. Even though that also opens up backstabbing a teammate.

Sure the classes will be super easy to upgrade there enchantments. But What about your 30 something weapons? And your 20 something helmets? With Say about 25 Capes? how are you going to enchant all of those with ONE simple click? How about a "Enchant all of this type" button? That reapplys and updates the enchants of a certain type? With just one simple click not 10 or 30 or 50. Just one simple click that will even go into your bank and backpack!

So I am lefted with say about 100 or more items to enchant. So I just go to the enchant shop and click "Enchant all items with Wizard Enchant update from level 40 to 50" This will save me time and a headache.

But you couldn't because kathool or a simlier oversize boss was blcoking your party members? with it giant body? Or have you never tried to share that useful skill to another party member. But they are all on top of each other? Sure you can press "T" 3 to 5 times to get the right party member. But wouldn't you prefer to click on the left side of the screen in that party member section and then click that skill to use? Quick. Easy. Out of the way. And you don't have to hunt down that party member from the giant monster to the mult layers of party members on him. Just one simple click to the party member sidebar and Bang! Your healer gets a useful skill and you can go back to combat!

Would also trigger against Wolfwing. Meanwhile in AQW. As we all know. That does not work. What do I suggest? Add moe triggers Let alone mult triggers on monsters/bosses. Like the Dracolich in /temple. He is a UDNEAD dragon. I remember reporting it as a bug before. What did I get? "His undead side overrules his dragon side" No no In AQClassic Dracolichs count as dragons and undead. Why can't AQW do the same? It can't be that hard.

Tonemaro: I know that in the very beginning of the game mana was like that. I remember that I couldn't wait until I was a level 20 so I could have 40 mana. Then they revamped the game, added in more enhancements, raised mana costs, and set mana at 100. I like this idea. It rewards players for sticking around. However, as Health is more tied to the class you have equipped these days, perhaps increasing the mana every time you rank up your class would fit in with overall gameplay better.
